How many grams are in 1 tola?
1 tola is 11.6638 grams. A tola is also 100 lal, so 1 lal is about 0.1166 grams.
Is the price per tola different from the price per 10 grams?
They describe the same rate in two units. The price per 10 grams is the price per tola divided by 1.16638, because a tola is 11.6638 grams.
Why is there no price for some days?
Rates are not published on Saturdays and some public holidays. On those days the page shows the latest available rate together with the date it was published.
Does the calculator show what I will pay a jeweller?
No. It estimates the value of the metal at the published rate. The price of jewellery also includes making charges, wastage, VAT and any dealer adjustments.
Where do these rates come from?
KhataIN publishes each day’s rate from the market rate notice and records its source. Past rates are never edited; a correction is added as a new version.
