By creating an account, accessing, or using KhataIN (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.
2. Accounts & authorized use
You must provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, activating multi-factor authentication (2FA), and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. The KhataIN service
KhataIN provides integrated cloud tools for double-entry bookkeeping, inventory management, customer invoicing, point-of-sale registers, and CRM workflows. We continuously update and refine our features to serve our customers.
4. Financial and professional disclaimer
While KhataIN provides rigorous software tools for bookkeeping and reporting, the platform does not provide formal legal, tax, or certified public accounting advice. You remain responsible for verifying the accuracy of your financial records and consulting with certified tax professionals for statutory compliance.
5. Plans, subscriptions & billing
Access to features, transaction throughput limits, and entity allowances are governed by your selected plan (Free, Professional, or Custom). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis as specified during purchase.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful activities, fraudulent financial transactions, unauthorized data scraping, reverse engineering, or distribution of malicious code.
7. Customer data ownership
You retain full ownership of all data, transactions, customer profiles, product catalogs, and documents you upload or record within KhataIN. You grant us only the limited license required to host, process, and display your data to provide the Service to you.
8. Intellectual property
KhataIN, its software codebase, user interfaces, branding, logos, and visual design assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Codexpal Technologies Private Limited.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KhataIN and Codexpal Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or business data arising from your use of the Service.
