Where to watch NPL 2026: TV and streaming

NPL 2026 is on Himalaya Sports (TV) and NetTV (streaming), with tickets from Rs 500 on eSewa. Here is what is confirmed, and what is only reported.

The third season of the Nepal Premier League runs from 26 October to 21 November 2026. All matches are at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) sold the 2026 media rights through a bidding process. These are the official ways to watch.

Confirmed: TV in Nepal

Himalaya Television Network Pvt. Ltd. won the linear TV broadcasting rights for Nepal, with a bid of Rs 14.64 crore, according to Nepali Telecom's report on the CAN bidding results. The Kathmandu Post and Ratopati both name the TV channel as Himalaya Sports, and the Post calls it the league's official broadcaster.

Confirmed: streaming on NetTV

NetTV Pvt. Ltd. won the OTT (internet streaming) rights for the 2026 season with a bid of Rs 18.04 crore. Nepali Telecom reported these prices for a pass to every match:

  • Nepal: Rs 400, including taxes
  • Middle East: US$4
  • Europe, the US, Australia, Japan and South Korea: US$10

The pass is sold through the NetTV app and website.

Reported but not confirmed by CAN

  • Star Sports. On 23 October 2026, Ratopati reported that CAN listed Star Sports as the international TV channel, alongside Himalaya Sports (Nepal) and NetTV (worldwide streaming). We have not seen a CAN rights announcement that names Star Sports or says which countries it covers.
  • India. Wisden says FanCode is streaming NPL 2026 in India. Wisden also describes NetTV's streaming rights as worldwide, including India. We found no announcement from FanCode, NetTV or CAN that settles this, so check the NetTV and FanCode apps before you pay.

Tickets at TU Ground

  • League matches: Rs 500 and Rs 1,000.
  • Where to buy: eSewa, the official ticketing partner.

eSewa paid Rs 85 lakh for the 2026 ticketing rights, and ticket revenue is shared 95% to CAN and 5% to eSewa, per Nepali Telecom.

Match timings

  • Day matches: 12:30 pm
  • Evening matches: 5:00 pm

All times are Nepal time. CAN moved the evening start from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm on 20 October 2026, when it confirmed DRS for the season.

What about 2025?

For comparison, Wisden reported that the 2025 season was shown free in Nepal on Kantipur Max TV, with streaming on the Dish Home Go app. It reported Star Sports and FanCode for India. The 2026 rights went to different companies.

Avoid pirated streams

Before the season, CAN secretary Paras Khadka urged fans to watch only through official channels. Watching official broadcasts supports the league and Nepali cricket.
